摘要 

本文从跨文化的视角来对《中庸》中所存在异质文化的翻译进行阐释，由于《中庸》属于中国传统经典书目，所以里面含有大量的中国传统词汇例如：“孝”，“君子”，“性”，“道”，“天”，等，这些在翻译过程中对西方人而言就属于异质文化，是中国特有的，直译过去他们就无法接受原文的本意，因此就需要结合当地的源文化和西方文化来进行一个翻译过程中异质文化的处理，使读者不会有陌生感和突兀感。本篇论文的结构主要包括以下几个方面：先简要总结概括辜鸿铭版《中庸》英译本的国内外研究现状，其次介绍《中庸》的翻译背景和异质文化的翻译过程所采用的翻译方法，最后从异质文化的翻译和跨文化角度针对辜鸿铭版英译本中的翻译内容做具体的分析与阐述。
