透视外贸合同翻译中的达
On the ‘Expressiveness’ of Foreign Trade Contract Translation
摘要
迄今为止，已有很多研究涉及外贸合同的翻译。然而，少有研究会从翻译表达的可及性入手。因此，“达”原则在合同翻译中的作用不容忽视。本文从以下几个方面进行研究：（1）“达”的定义；（2）翻译技巧与表达能力之间的关系；（3）外贸合同翻译的特点；（4）在中西方文化差异的影响下，贸易双方如何基于选词，句法结构以及篇章构成等特点，掌握翻译中的“达”原则并将其熟练地运用到外贸合同的翻译中。为了实现这一目的，合约签订方应着眼于词意与语境，形合与意合的特点，适当地采用分译法与合译法等基本的翻译技巧。本文主要采用定性研究的方法，结合一些案例分析，清楚明确地阐述了“达”原则在外贸合同翻译中的实际应用。

Abstract
By far, translation of foreign trade contract has been studied throughout the world. However, the principle of the expressiveness has always been disregarded and few studies have been concluded. Therefore, the theory of the expressiveness to the translation practice of foreign trade contract has to be further studied. The qualitative research had great influence on this study. The following conclusion was reached (1) the definition of the translation expressiveness; (2) the relationship between the translation skills and expressiveness of translation; (3) the characteristics of the translation of foreign trade contracts in terms of the different backgrounds between Chinese and foreign languages; (4) How both parties put the theory of expressiveness into the translation of foreign trade contracts in terms of lexica, sentence and discourse. Firstly, the lexical sentiment and discrimination and the analysis of the context were fundamental elements in translation in terms of the correct choice of words. Secondly, the analysis of long sentences, the fixed collocation and the sentence order were crucial elements based on the idiomatic sentence structure. Finally, the division and the combination widely used in the translation of foreign trade contracts are good skills to achieve the integrity of the contracts on the basis of logical discourse composition.
