银行英语的词汇特征及其翻译研究
The Lexical Features of Banking English and Its Translation
摘要
在全球经济一体化的趋势推动下,各国银行间的合作变得愈加密不可分。世界范围内最为广泛使用的英语,成为了银行业务中的通用语言,因此作为具有鲜明特色的银行英语也引起人们越来越多的关注。本文结合银行英语特有的词汇特点,归纳出一些具体适用于银行英语翻译的翻译技巧。本文正文由四个章节组成:第一章,主要介绍了银行的功能及其基本业务,对银行业务中使用较高的英语作一定的分析,并指出我们学习银行英语的重要性和必要性。第二章,分析银行英语这一特殊用途英语的词汇特点,在简要介绍银行英语的词汇特点之后,具体从词汇,句法,语篇,这几个方面对常用银行英语进行分析。第三章,在银行英语词汇特点分析的基础上,下文将进入对银行英语翻译的探讨,从翻译理论,独有词汇,词义引申等几个方面进行深入解析,主要探讨英译汉的翻译。第四章提出在银行这一特殊行业中对译者的要求,包括语言能力,专业素质以及一定的文化背景知识修养等。

Abstract
Under the promotion of global economic integration, banks in different countries have more opportunities to cooperate with each other. As the worldwide accepted language, English becomes the most commonly used language in banking business activities; Banking English has attracted more and more attention by humans. On the basis of the lexical and translation theories, this paper tries to find some useful translation skills. The text altogether is composed of four chapters: First of all, this paper mainly introduces the bank and its basic business, doing some analysis of the business of bank of English. Then it throws lights on the importance and necessity of learning banking English. Part two, the thesis analyzes the stylistic features of banking English as a special purpose of English. Firstly, it gives some theory background about style and stylistics, after the brief introduction of the lexical features of banking English; finally, it analyzes common banking English from specific aspects as vocabulary, syntax and discourse. In the third part, the paper will discuss the bank of English translation on the basis of the analysis of the characteristics of the style. It will mainly discuss the translation of English to Chinese. In part four, the thesis will put forward some requirements for the translators of Banking English, such as the bilingual competence, expertise knowledge, bicultural understanding etc.
