摘要
如今，随着世界经济的快速发展，中国积极参与国际贸易中的各项活动。在国际贸易的谈判和函电写作中，委婉语的应用会对国际贸易的顺利开展起到十分重要的作用。本文将从英语委婉语的特点、作用等方面入手，着重探讨如何将委婉语有效地运用到国际贸易的谈判和写作中，进而促进贸易谈判的有效性。该篇论文主要 采用案例分析的方法研究英语委婉语在谈判和函电中应用, 对促进国际贸易的 发展具有十分重要的意义。

Abstract
Nowadays, since the economy has increasingly developed, China has been participating in varieties of activities in international trade. In international trade negotiations and correspondence, the application of English euphemisms has an important effect on international trade and makes it develop smoothly. This paper focus on how to effectively use euphemisms to international trade negotiations and writing in terms of the characteristics and functions of English euphemisms, thus promote the effectiveness of trade negotiations. This paper mainly uses the case analysis method to study the application of English euphemisms in the negotiations and correspondence. It greatly promotes International trade and is of great consequence to the trading.
