摘要

神话，作为文明的根源，早已反映出了不同文化之间的共性与差异性，并极大程度地影响了文学，政治制度等方面的发展。女神作为神话中的重要角色，其人物形象不仅反映出了该种文化中的女性地位，亦反映出文化中不同的价值取向。本文以霍夫斯塔德的文化维度理论为指导，从权力距离，个人主义与集体主义，男性气质与女性气质，长期取向与短期取向四方面对比研究了中希神话中女神形象的不同点，并总结出中国文化具有高权力距离，集体主义，男性气质，长期取向，西方神话具有低权力距离，个人主义，女性气质，短期取向的特点。这些文化价值取向上的差异极大影响着跨文化交际，应当研究中多加注意。
