On E-C Translation Strategy for English Business Claim Letter 

摘要

在国际商务活动中，商务信函作为交流工具之一，其作用和地位举足轻重。本文细致梳理前人对商务英语索赔函翻译的相关研究成果，探讨商务英语索赔函的主要语言特点以及影响商务英语索赔函的翻译的因素，在此基础上就商务英语索函汉译的可行性策略提出自己的见解，以期解决目前商务英语索赔函汉译中出现的一些问题，排除由于翻译不到位带来的不必要的麻烦。

Abstract

As one of the communication tools, business letter plays a decisive role in international business activities. Based on the previous researches concerning the translation of English Business claim letter, the main language features of English Business claim letter as well as the factors affecting the E-C translation of it are discussed in this thesis, and some feasible E–C translation strategies for English Business claim letter are also puts forward at the end of the thesis in the hope of clearing up some problems existing in the translation.
