摘要

个体主义可以说是美国文化的重要部分。改编自DC漫画公司经典超级英雄漫画的电影《超人》自上映以来受到了广泛的关注。而这部影片也对美国的核心价值观--个体主义价值观研究起到了很有效的宣传作用。本文将通过对电影中人物的对话、行为进行分析，从个人自由、自我发展两个方面解析电影中展现的个体主义价值观，从而使我们进一步了解个体主义作为美国人的主要价值观在日常生活中的体现和作用。

Abstract

Individualism can be said to be an essential component of American culture. Adapted from super classic heroic comedy made in DC Comic Corporation, the movie Superman has achieved extensive attention since its release. This movie also makes effective propaganda for the research on individualism, the core value of Americans. This thesis will deal with individualism value from individual freedom and individual development by means of analyzing the conversation and behavior in the movie so as to make us have a further understanding of individualism embodied and functioned in American people’s daily life.
