摘要

隐喻并不仅仅只是一种语言修辞手段，而被认为是人类思维的反映。人类在认识和描述世界时，常常需要隐喻来帮助人类认知，所以隐喻也成为一种文化的载体。文化影响了隐喻的形成与发展，隐喻也反过来影响了文化。语言作为社会文化的反映，因此无处不在的隐喻也必然折射出性别歧视观念。本文通过对比研究英汉语言中隐喻的性别歧视，深入挖掘中外文化中的性别歧视现象，阐释出中国和欧美国家的性别文化心理。以此来揭示出不合理的性别文化观，倡导性别平等。
