摘要

在经济全球化的趋势下，商务英语信函在我国经济生活中越来越重要。委婉表达作为一种重要的交际手段在商务信函中被广泛使用。因此，关于商务英语信函中委婉语翻译的研究是一个具有显著意义的问题。

本文在分析商务英语信函的功能和写作原则的基础上，通过大量例句，重点探讨了商务英语信函中的委婉表达及翻译，提出了具体的翻译标准和方法。希望人们从中了解更多有关商务信函中的委婉表达及其翻译知识，并使这些知识服务于我国与各国的商务往来。

Abstract

Under the tendency of economic globalization, English business letters are playing more and more vital roles in our country’s economic life. As an important communicative means, euphemistic expressions are used frequently in English business letters. Therefore, it brings practical significance to study the translation of euphemistic expressions. 

This thesis mainly discusses the translation of euphemistic expressions in English business letters. On the basis of analyzing functions and writing principles of English business letters, the thesis also puts forward specific translation criteria and methods through abundant examples, so to help people get more knowledge about the translation of euphemistic expression in English business letters and make full use of the knowledge in business trades between countries.
