体验式教学法在大学英语口语课堂中的运用

The Application of the Experiential Teaching Approach in Oral English Teaching in College English Instruction

摘要:随着国际竞争的加剧,好的英语口语能力能增加人们与外国人交流与学习的机会,便成为了人才必须掌握的工具,因此人们都越来越看重口语教学的质量问题。传统教学法以教师为中心,在课堂上,老师过度强调词汇和语法,而忽视了学生综合语言运用。所以在大学中选择好的教学方法以提升学生的口语能力十分重要。本文以建构主义和库伯的学习圈理论为基础,旨在阐述在大学课堂中运用体验式教学法来提高学生的口语能力。除此以外,学生们会发现他们对学英语的热情极大提高,综合语言运用能力也会得到提升。

Abstract: With the increasing international competition, good oral English abilities, which can expand opportunities to communicate with foreigners and learn new things from them, has become an important tool for talents, so people are attaching more and more importance to the quality of oral English teaching. The traditional teaching method is a teacher-centered model, which emphasizes too much on the vocabulary and grammar terms and neglects the importance of integrated linguistic application. As a result, students pay little attention to their oral English and comprehensive English competency. Therefore, choosing a good teaching method in college English instruction to enhance students' oral English abilities is very important. Based on the constructive theory and Kolb’s learning cycle, this paper aims at improving college students’ oral English by applying the experiential teaching method in college oral English construction. In addition, students can find their interests in English aroused and their linguistic comprehensive abilities enhanced.
