生态女性主义视角下《啊，拓荒者》的解读_英语论文

An Analysis of O Pioneers from the Perspective of Eco-feminism

摘要

在薇拉·凯瑟的一生中一共完成了十二部长篇小说，这也奠定了她在20世纪美国文学界的地位。薇拉·凯瑟的许多小说都探讨了人与自然之间的关系，《啊，拓荒者》是里面典型的一部。

本文从生态女性主义角度来分析不同生态意识下的《啊，拓荒者》，通过分析亚历山大与自然之间的关系表明女性准则对于建立和谐的人与自然关系是相当有利的。从生态女性主义角度分析这部小说，揭示女性与自然之间相互依赖，相互呵护的关系。根据现实意义，呼吁人类按照女性主义原则和生态整体性原则重建社会，最终达到自然万物和谐相处。

Abstract

Willa Cather has completed twelve long novels in her life time, and establishes her fame in the American literary canon of the early 20th century. Many works of the famous American writer Willa Cather explore the relationship between human and nature, O Pioneers is one of them. 

This paper attempts to analyze the differences of ecological consciousness between male and female with Eco-feminism in her novel O Pioneers, and states that assertive female principle is beneficial to establish a harmonious relationship between human and nature through the analysis of the relationship between the mistress Alexander and nature. The thesis analyzes the novel O Pioneers in view of eco-feminism aiming to reveal the interdependent relationship between nature and women and call on people to reconstruct the society in the ecological and feminine way to achieve natural harmony.
