摘  要：华裔作家伍绮诗在她的处女作小说《无声告白》中描述了一个跨族裔家庭的悲剧。这本书开篇就宣告了这个家庭的二女儿莉迪亚的死亡，随后逐步揭示了这桩悲剧形成的原因，流露出作者在双重文化冲击下对自我身份建构的困惑与自省。此论文旨在运用创伤理论分析文本，探析詹姆斯·李一家中每个人所受的创伤及其潜在原因，并进一步探讨他们如何走出创伤最终重建一个清晰的身份认知。

Abstract: Celeste Ng, a Chinese American writer, conveys a profound description of a tragedy about an inter-ethnic family in her virgin novel Everything I Never Told You. This book opens with the announcement of Lydia’s death, who is the second child of the Lee Family, then reveals gradually how this tragedy came about and shows the author’s confusion and introspection under the impact of dual cultural identity. This paper intends to analyze this text based on trauma theory, exploring the traumas imposed on everyone in Lee’s family and its undetectable roots. Also, it discusses how they work through the traumas and finally reconstruct a clear identity.
