摘要

《永别了，武器》是海明威以自己一战时担任救护车司机的亲身经历为基础所写的一部作品。这是他最著名的杰作之一，海明威以第一次世界大战为背景，描述了一个美国救护车司机和一个英国护士的爱情故事。海明威通过描述亨利和凯瑟琳的悲惨命运，表达了反对战争热爱和平的思想主题。这部小说中反战情绪处处可见，他通过对战地细节和战争现实的描写揭露了战争的残酷以及其罪恶本质从而体现了反战思想的主题。本文将从反战主题的内容和体现方式来分析研究《永别了，武器》中的反战思想。

Abstract

A Farewell to Arms was written on the basis of Hemingway’s own experience as an ambulance driver during the First World War. This novel is one of his most famous masterpieces, he takes the war as a backdrop, tells a love story between an American ambulance driver and an English nurse. Hemingway expresses the theme of anti-war and peace-loving by depicting the miserable fate of Henry and Catherine. Readers can see anti-war sentiments from everywhere in this novel, the cruelty and the evil nature of war were uncovered through the detailed descriptions of battlefield and the depictions of the reality of the war, which all reflect the theme of anti-war. This paper aims to discuss the theme of anti-war by analyzing its contents as well as its way of manifestations.
