摘要
语言作为文化的载体,既是必不可少的交流工具,也是社会变迁的反映,因此,社会的发展变化必然会引起语言的发展变化。科技的进步催生了各种新事物、新思想、新政策和新现象,新词新语应运而生,成了语言中最具活力的部分。随着我国综合国力的增强和国际地位的提升,各国对我国的关注更加全面深切,具有鲜明的中国特色的汉语新词成为了世界了解中国的媒介。新词的翻译,不但是中国对外联系的“推进器”,而且也是中国近些年发展变化的“展示器”。但新词新语翻译的得当与否是影响交往与交流的重要因素,本文着力于研究近年来汉语中出现的大量新词新语及其翻译现状。在对大量翻译实例分析的基础上,总结出了当前汉语新词翻译存在的主要问题,提出了汉语新词翻译应该遵循的原则和策略,为这一领域的翻译实践提出一些建议和参考。
