功能对等理论在商务英语翻译中的应用_英语论文

A Study of Business English Translation from the Perspective of Functional Equivalence

摘要

随着经济全球化及商贸活动的日益频繁，商务英语的作用显得尤为突出，因此商务英语的翻译的研究引起了广泛关注。本文旨在将功能对等理论应用到商务英语翻译实践中。作者首先介绍了奈达的功能对等翻译理论，然后从词汇、句子及篇章三个方面介绍了商务英语的文体特点。最后作者试图将功能对等理论应用到商务英语翻译中，得出了商务英语翻译的策略。这种翻译策略有助于贸易双方传递信息，促进相互了解并最终达成交易。

Abstract

With the development of globalization and the increasingly frequent commercial activities, the business English plays a particularly prominent role, so the study of business English translation has caused wide attention. Aiming to apply Functional Equivalence theory into business English translation, this paper firstly briefs Nida’s Functional Equivalence theory，and then introduces stylistic features of business English from three aspects: lexical features, syntactic features and discourse features. Finally, under the guidance of Functional Equivalence theory, the domestication translation strategy is applied into business English translation, which is hoped to help the two sides of foreign trade know better about each other, convey information, and finally conclude business.
