《告白》中主要人物的弗洛伊德精神分析解读
A Freudian Psychoanalysis of Major Characters in Confessions
Abstract
Freudian psychoanalysis is a psycho-dynamic theory that emphasizes the unconscious process of human brains, in which the spiritual level and personality structure can provide theoretical guidance for children’s psychological health education. This paper applies relevant theories of Freud psychoanalysis to interpret heroes’ (the delinquent Teenagers’) personalities in Confessions, with which the psychological reasons of both heroes’ killing behaviors are investigated. The author of this paper believes that, based on our research, we can provide some feasible solutions to help teenagers resolve possible psychological problems.
Structurally, this paper is divided into four parts: The first part briefly introduces the characters of the main characters in the novel. In the second part, Freudian theories of Oedipus Complex, subconscious and psychological defense mechanism are applied to analyze the spiritual world of Teenager A and B, through which the author of the paper attempts to draw a picture of their pathological psychology. In the third part, by analyzing the crushing of Teenager A’s dream and the conflict between Teenager B’s inner id and superego, the author tries to interpret their killing behavior with the deep structures in their sub-consciousness. Based on the previous analyses, the forth part puts forwards feasible suggestions and recommendations that are helpful to adolescents’ mental growth by emphasizing the importance of family education, and by enhancing teenagers’ psychological adjustment ability and by establishing social interventional mechanism.
In closing, we can conclude, based on the above discussion on the teenagers’ psychological problems in the novels that family education, psychological intervention mechanism and social concerns are vital to the development of teenagers’ mental health.
