摘要

语言是一种十分重要的交流方式，语言中的颜色词也是十分普遍的，由于历史传统、自然环境、宗教信仰、民族心理的不同，颜色词在中英语言中代表的意义或者象征含义也会有所差异，本文基于中英颜色词产生的不同背景下，从不同的颜色来对比中英颜色词的差异，可以帮助人们能更好的理解中英颜色词和它们的文化内涵，达到更好的文化交流，避免造成不必要的文化冲突。
