归化异化翻译理论视角下《了不起的盖茨比》两种中译本的比较_英语论文

A Case Study of Two Chinese Versions of The Great Gatsby from Domestication and Foreignization Perspective 

摘要

随着翻译与文化之间的关系越来越受到大众的关注，规化与异化这一组翻译策略最近几年开始出现。本文主要从归化与异化翻译理论角度入手，对《了不起的盖茨比》的两个中译本不同的语言表达进行分析讨论。通过比较，我们就会发现翻译策略影响着翻译本身，我们应该正确的认识归化和异化并把两者有机结合来指导翻译，同时也旨在更深层次的了解翻译的特性和本质。

Abstract

Since the relationship between culture and translation has been obtaining more and more public attention,as a pair of translation strategies,domestication and foreignization appear in the recent years.This paper takes two Chinese translated versions of the novel The Great Gatsby as an example to have a comparative study of language expressions. Through comparison,we can find the procedure of translation and the factors influencing translation.We should understand domestication and foreignization correctly and combine them properly.
