摘要

跨文化交际中，电影作为文化交流的重要途径之一，在日常生活中的位置日益凸显，而影视作品中幽默元素的翻译也显得尤为重要。幽默自身植根于特定的言语与文化情境之中，英汉两种语言有着独特的语言特点和文化背景，幽默的翻译也异常棘手。本课题以影片《银河护卫队》为研究对象，以影片中的幽默翻译为实例，对幽默翻译探讨。希望通过对电影《银河护卫队》中的幽默翻译研究，能使更多的人了解到影视作品翻译这一行业以及对电影字幕翻译工作的重视，并提出译者应持有更加严谨的工作态度，积极促成世界电影文化的发展与交流。

Abstract

Film serves as one of the important ways of cultural transmission and its position has become increasingly prominent in daily life. Humor itself is rooted in certain languages and cultural contexts while the English and Chinese languages have unique characteristics and cultural backgrounds that make humor translation become extremely difficult. The thesis regards the loss of humor in translation as a starting point, combined with abundance of examples in the movie Guardians of the Galaxy to explore the problems in humor translation. By thorough analysis, the thesis hopes to get people to know the subtitle translation of humor in film and television works and come to understand the importance of film subtitle translation. It is found that translators should hold more rigorous attitude towards translation work and play a positive role in promoting the development and communication of the global film culture.
