《阿甘正传》是一部经典电影。幽默的对话促成了它的成功。中国对《阿甘正传》的语用研究不涉及预设理论。本文通过对《阿甘正传》中对话的分析，试图揭示语言幽默是如何由语用预设，如得体性、相互知识理解等产生的。

作者试从语用预设的可撤销性、合适性和共识性分析《阿甘正传》中的言语幽默是如何产生的。本文探讨以下三个问题：1） 语用预设可撤销性在《阿甘正传》中如何产生言语幽默？ 2）违背语用预设合适性在《阿甘正传》中如何产生言语幽默？ 3）违背语用预设共识性在《阿甘正传》中如何产生言语幽默？

本文采用定性研究方法。作者以《阿甘正传》中的幽默对话为研究材料。电影《阿甘正传》中的台词是从网上下载的。作者把所有的典型的幽默对话作为研究材料。
