摘要

在全球化时代，中文必须向世界开放。因此我们需要与其他国家进行持续不断的对话。这也正是中国改革开放政策以来一致在做的工作。在与其他国家进行交流时，文化交流是其中的重头戏。而在进行文化交流时所使用的方法中，新闻在其中扮演着重要角色。所以从跨文化交流的角度来看，时政新闻的翻译就显得尤为重要。我们可以把时政新闻的英译视作跨文化交流以及我国的文化输出的一种方式。所以研究时政新闻的英译就非常有必要了。这个研究有利于译者了解在翻译过程中的信息传播机制，因此，译者可以用一些翻译技巧来减少不确定的阻碍因素；译者从而也可以创造出对于外国读者来说易于接受的译文，增加时政新闻英译的实用性和价值。鉴于时政新闻的这些影响，时政新闻的英译也越来越受到相关学者和专家的重视了。

所以本篇文章主要从跨文化交际的角度来研究时政新闻的英译，旨在找出能够帮助译者更好的传输中国文化的时政新闻的英译策略。首先，我将介绍研究背景以及研究的重要性。然后接下来有一篇简短的文献综述。在第三章，我将介绍时政新闻及其特点，第四章将介绍跨文化交流和时政新闻的跨文化角色。第五章将具体介绍四种时政新闻翻译策略。最后一部分是整篇文章的结论。
