法律语言以高度的精确性、正式性和专业化为特点。因此，在有关法律文本翻译理论的指导下遵循基本的翻译原则和技巧进行翻译实践是必要的。此论文的主要目的是探究如何翻译出与源文本具有同等法律效力的平行文本。本论文介绍了法律文本翻译的理论基础和法律语言的特点，解释了双重功能对等理论，还阐明了法律文本翻译的原则和技巧。这些不仅对准确翻译和适用法条具有重要意义，对正确理解经贸法律合同也是至关重要的。

Abstract

Legal language is characterized by its high degree of preciseness, formality and professionalization. Therefore, it is essential to practice abide by preliminary principles and techniques under the instruction of the theory concerning legal text translation. The main purpose of the thesis is to expound how to accomplish parallel texts having equivalent force of law with original texts. The thesis introduces the conceptual basis for legal text translation and features of legal language. It explains dual functional equivalence theory. It also specifies principles and techniques of legal text translation. Those are important for not only precisely translating and applying legal provisions, but also correctly understanding legal contracts in trade.
