摘要
韵律在翻译中扮演着重要的角色,跨语言翻译中对于韵律因素的研究具有重要的指导意义。本文基于许渊冲的“三美”原则,从英语头韵/汉语双声以及英语拟声词/汉语拟声词的角度出发对英汉语音韵特点进行了对比分析。本文给出了一些案例分析,以便归纳诗歌、戏剧、小说的汉英翻译中对于韵律因素的处理策略,同时指出了英语头韵与汉语双声、英语拟声词与汉语叠音拟声词之间的转换关系。
文章同时还指出,翻译的艺术即为妥协和补偿的艺术。声音效果的丢失有时不可避免,英语头韵与汉语双声、英语拟声词与汉语叠音拟声词的转换有时不可行,因此会造成声音效果上的损失,但一些其他修辞手段可以在一定程度上弥补这些损失,从而在翻译中最大化音韵美,以求“三美”的和谐统一。
