摘要

当代阿富汗裔美国作家胡塞尼的小说《灿烂千阳》受到评论界的一致好评，被很多评论家赞誉为“超越《追风筝的人》的伟大作品”。该小说以玛利亚姆和莱拉两条主线，讲述了两位原本生活没有交集的阿富汗女性，因为战争相识相知，共同经受着战乱、贫困与家庭暴力的重压。本文的研究目的旨在通过分析主人公周围的主要男性形象，剖析他们对两位主人公成长的影响，包括性格和生活的态度，从男性形象角度探寻玛利亚姆和莱拉截然不同命运结局的深层原因。在父权制和男性话语权下的阿富汗，广大女性难以避免悲惨的命运。本课题要解决的问题的关键在于对男性形象的剖析，从而探寻其对于两位主人公性格的形成和悲剧命运的形成，最终归于社会的大环境作用。
