从美学角度看《老无所依》的翻译_英语论文
On the Translation of No Country for Old Men From Reception Aesthetics Perspective
摘要
普利策奖得主科马克·麦卡锡是当代美国最具影响力的作家之一,被誉为美国南方文学与西部文学的代表人物。他的第十部作品《老无所依》于2005年出版。由于中英语言文化差异,原作者独特写作风格,以及译者自身翻译风格等诸多因素,是以译文和原文很难完全一致,这也为英汉翻译研究提供了一次机会。接受美学是20世纪六十年代中后期出现的一种文艺美学思潮。翻译过程中译者必然经历接受活动,这一思想应用于翻译研究。本文采用文艺美学中的接受美学理论作为研究方法,采用曹元勇译本与原文对照进行分析,以期为翻译研究与实践提供一定的借鉴意义。

Abstract
No Country for Old Men is one of the masterpieces of the American writer Cormac McCarthy. This novel has been widely spread among the world and China makes no exception. This thesis, citing the Chinese version of No Country for Old Men by Cao Yuanyong as analysis data and based on Reception Aesthetics as the the theoretical foundation, will take language style into consideration, focus on reader’s horizon of expectation, compare similarities and differences of meaning, style, reader responses between the original and the translation with examples, so as to analyze and discuss the strong-points, hopefully to offer translation reference for similar textual translation.
