摘要

作为中美文化的产物，集体主义与个人主集中体现了中美价值观的差异。本文延续霍夫斯泰德的集体主义与个人主义，但并不认为两种价值观不可以共存于同种文化，只是一种价值观会成为主导，另一种价值观的存在不明显。本文就中国的集体主义与美国的个人主义进行比较分析，主要以两部影视作品为例，中国的《唐人街探案2》和美国的《重返唐人街》，从价值观取向、搭档、竞争对手和面临困难时的选择四个方面探究中美文化差异，并且讨论了个人主义与集体主义融合后的结果，从而帮助人们更好地理解中美文化间存在的差异。
