摘要

颜色词是语言中用来反映客观事物各种色彩的语言成分，在英汉两种语言中使用颇为广泛。由于历史发展、风俗习惯、思想意识和价值观念存在差异，英汉两种语言中的颜色词所赋予的文化内涵往往也不尽相同，为了更好地传递英汉两种语言中颜色词所表达的意义，我们在对颜色词进行翻译时，必须了解它们所蕴含的文化内涵，根据实际情况做出准确的翻译。

本文探讨了颜色词在中英文化中的不同内涵及其翻译。首先，本文对基本颜色词的分类做了概述，进一步描述颜色词与文化的交融。其次，论文分析了英汉颜色词文化内涵存在差异的原因，并对英汉基本颜色词进行了对比研究。最后，在此基础上，本论文对如何翻译两种文化的颜色词进行了探讨，以实现成功的跨文化交际。
