摘要

作为18世纪的讽刺大师，英国作家乔纳森·斯威夫特，凭借其高超的讽刺艺术，成为英国乃至世界讽刺文学的先驱。他的文字敢于大胆讽刺社会政治，以及社会阴暗面，文字中表达了他强烈的社会责任感，反对战争，对以及对爱尔兰人民生活状况的不平。本文将针对《格列佛游记》不同章节中讽刺的运用，进行分析，展现当时英国社会的政治、宗教、科学研究、人性、殖民主义等方面存在的问题。分析斯威夫特运用讽刺带来的艺术效果。

Abstract 

As the master of satirists, during the 18th century, the British author Jonathan Swift became the pioneer of the satire literature in Britain even in the world, with his excellent satire writing style. His words dare to mock the social politic and the black side of the British society, which imply his powerful sense of social responsibility, the opposition to wars and the sympathy of the Irish living situation. This paper will analyze how it satires in different volumes, to exposes the kinds of aspects of British society, such as politics, religion, scientific research, humanity and colonialism etc.
