A Cultural Study of Love Stories in Greco-Roman Mythology

摘要

古希腊罗马神话是希腊罗马文学艺术的源泉和土壤。其中所包含的所有神话故事传说都生动有趣，蕴含着丰富的哲理，对后世人类的思想观念、生活方式等各方面产生了深远的影响。如果说爱情是人类永恒的主题，那么根据希腊罗马神话，人类社会的创造者和管理者，神界中自然也存在着这样的主题。无论是因遭受背叛而导致充满复仇主义色彩的爱情故事，还是以殉情为结局的悲剧爱情故事，还是虽有着幸福结局但却经历艰难与挫折的爱情故事都使古希腊罗马神话故事更具艺术价值和魅力。在这些故事中表现出的无论是花心且不忠诚的男性，还是被嫉妒和报复心蒙蔽了双眼的女性，都映衬出古希腊罗马爱情故事的悲剧主线，也反映了古希腊人对待爱情强烈的感情。种种爱情故事所包含的原因也引人深思。本文通过研究古希腊罗马神话中的爱情故事，探究其所蕴含的特点及产生的原因。

Abstract

Ancient Greek and Roman mythology was the source and soil of Greek and Roman literature and art. All of the myths and legends contained in them are vivid and interesting, which contains a wealth of philosophy. It has a profound impact on the future generations’ mind, life style and so on. If love is the eternal theme of humanity, then according to Greek and Roman mythology, there is such a theme in god, the creators and managers of human society. No matter the love stories with full of revenge because of betrayal or the stories of love unto death, or even the love stories with happy ending but have experienced difficulties and setbacks. All of these love stories made the ancient Greek and Roman mythology had more artistic value and charm. No mater unfaithful and capricious male, or the female who was blinded by jealousy and revenge, reflected the main line of love stories is tragedy in ancient Greek and Roman mythology. In addition, the strong emotions of love in ancient Greek and Rome also were reflected. All sorts of reasons contained in these stories really worth deeply think. This thesis will explore the characteristics and cause by study the love stories of ancient Greek and Roman mythology.
