摘 要

随着经济全球化的不断深入，从经济、文化到政治各个领域，各国之间的联系日益紧密，因此顺利的交流不可避免得成为合作成功的前提，由此诞生了口译这一职业，社会对口译人才的要求也逐渐提高。而交替传译（交传）与同声传译（同传）作为口译的两种最主要的形式以各自的优势和特点广受社会欢迎。交替传译主要应用于记者招待会，媒体发布会及各种小型会议中，同声传译则在大型的国际会议中被大量采用。那么是什么决定了它们不用的应用场合？本文从交替传译和同声传译译法上出现不同的原因及具体在哪些地方出现差异来进行两者之间的译法对比。本论文旨在通过对同声传译与交替传译的译法对比研究，为广大口译学习者提供参考借鉴，提高口译学习过程中的效率。

Abstract

With the development of economy and progress of society, more and more international conferences are held around the world. Interpreting is serving as an increasingly important communicative bridge for cultures and economics. So the public ask more from the interpreters. Simultaneous interpreting(SI) and consecutive interpreting(CI) are the two most important forms in interpreting and have been widely accepted by the public.SI as its features of straight, simultaneous and without much time occupied, enjoys great popularity and is widely used in various kinds of international meetings. Against this background, CI as its features of more accurate, coherent and logical, is also widely used, especially in media briefings and press conferences and addresses for banquets. So what is the underlying reason differentiating the occasion where these two kinds of interpreting come into use? This paper commits to comparing the differences between CI and the SI from the way of different requirements they hold to interpreter and the detailed differences between them such as the difference in interpreting number. This paper, through the contrast between the CI and SI, aims to provide the interpreting learners a practical reference so as to improve their efficiency in the learning process.

1 Introduction
    Interpreter has became an international profession since the First World War. It is in the Paris Peace Conference interpreters who have been trained firstly and professionally to meet the requirements of the conference. After that interpreter has become an important profession in the world.
In this paper, within the limited access to the existing resources, the author provides an overview of the previous researches and achievements on the contrast of translation skills between consecutive interpreting (CI) and simultaneous interpreting (SI).
