摘 要
本文的重点在于讨论网络字幕组以及当今英语学习与字幕组之间联系的探讨。本文的开头部分聚焦于字幕组的人员分配、具体的制作字幕的过程以及当代字幕组生存环境和可能面临的版权纠纷等一系列法律问题。本文的第二部分重点在于探讨字幕组与英语学习之间的密切联系以及如何通过观看字幕组翻译成品来进行英语学习的讨论与研究。本文的第三个部分通过一个在互联网论坛上发起的英语学习相关的网络调查展示出大众对通过字幕组学习英语这种学习方式的态度以及认同程度。本文不仅仅以网络字幕组为契机展现出了当代中国互联网的大环境同时探究讨论了英语学习的全新可能。

Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to describe the so-called fan subs, a different type of subtitling carried out by domestic translators and the relationship between English learning and fan subs in many aspects. The first part of this study covers both the people and phases involved in the subbing process from beginning to end and also focuses on the legality and ethics of fan subs. The second part pays attention to the actual translation of fan subs and their unique features and how to learn English through the foreign episodes. The third part focuses on the survey on the possibility of English learning through subtitle groups in forum. The paper concludes with a reflection on the Internet phenomenon by fan subtitling and also sorts out many English learning methods.

1 Introduction
This paper is related to the relationship between fan subs and English learning. The translator is a bridge between the different languages and cultures. As carrier of culture, Films and television episodes are needed to translate. With the rise and development of Internet technology, the subtitles group has become a network TV drama translation team. Subtitle group is a foreign language film enthusiasts groups accompanied by subtitles and a new thing in the Internet. Accompanied by subtitles group the subtitle film and television work are called subtitles translated works of the group. At the same time, English learning methods are also under development. Learning English is not only limited to the classroom or traditional books but also to the Internet multimedia. More and more people, directly through the Internet, watch or download TV drama or English multimedia material (speeches, news articles) to learn English, but not like the older, only listen to foreign radio stations or reading traditional reference.
