摘　要

本论文通过对合作原则的分析，在研究金融术语特点的基础上，探讨了如何将合作原则用于指导金融术语英汉翻译的问题。旨在通过结合合作原则来分析译者在翻译过程中产生的问题，从而使译者翻译得更好。随着国际贸易和经济全球化的飞速发展，金融领域的合作与交流日渐频繁。同时中国人民的生活水平提高了，人们的理财意识增强了，越来越多的人参与到国际金融事务中，金融术语的翻译变得日益重要。虽然金融术语的翻译引起了国内翻译界的关注并取得了不错的成绩，但是目前对金融术语的英汉翻译的研究还不够完善，不同译者的翻译仍存在较大的差异。而另一方面，合作原则也是翻译中的重要原则，这个原则可以帮助译者翻译得更准确。本文仔细地介绍了金融术语的特点和合作原则理论，结合实例，将合作原则运用到金融术语英汉翻译中。通过研究，合作原则指导金融术语英汉翻译是适合的。

Abstract

This article is a research about how to apply the Cooperative Principle to the E-C translation of financial terms by analyzing features of financial terms based on Cooperative Principle. This thesis aims at finding and analyzing the problems when people translate the financial terms and make people translate better than before. Along with the rapid development of international trade and economic globalization, the intensification of international financial cooperation becomes increasingly important. Chinese people’s living standards are improving, and their awareness of financial management is enhanced accordingly. Therefore, translation of financial terms is becoming increasingly critical, with more and more people taking part in it. Although remarkable academic research has been organized on translation of financial terminologies in recent years, the studies are not perfect. As to one specific terminology, different translators might produce quite different versions. On the other hand, Cooperative Principle is an important principle in conversation as well as in translation. The principle can help translators do better in the E-C translation of financial terms. This thesis will introduce the features of financial terms and the theory of Cooperative Principle comprehensively and carefully, combining with the examples on the basis of Cooperative Principle. And apply the principle to the E-C translation of financial terms. According to the results of this research, the application of Cooperative Principle to translation of financial terms is appropriate.

1.1 Background of the study
In the past decades, with the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, China has seen rapid development in economy. And it is being more and more closely related to the world in a variety of fields. Under the circumstances, economy globalization is one of the important characteristics of the contemporary world economy, and the financial globalization is the trend of the times, the financial market in China has been gradually evolving and expanding. Then financial English become more important than before.
