摘　要

金融英语，作为一种特殊用途英语，随着经济的发展，在国际经济活动的竞争与合作中占据着越来越重要的地位。这就要求金融英语学习者和金融工作者对金融英语重新定义与把握，以便更好地参与国际经济事务。在金融英语学习的过程中，多数学习者首先遇到的问题就是如何学习并掌握庞大的金融英语词汇库。通过调查文献，定性分析以及比较分析，本文探讨总结了金融英语词汇具有准确性，对立性，相关性，简洁性，稳定性以及创新性的特征。另外，本文从金融术语具有的单义性与多义性开展，进一步论述其特点。根据总结出来的金融英语词汇的特征与直译、意译和零译的方法，在翻译过程中选择适当的翻译手段进行翻译，以求达到翻译的真实、准确与一致的目标。

Abstract

Financial English, as a kind of English for specific purpose, playing an increasingly critical role in international competition and cooperation in economic activity along with the development of economy. In order to keep pace with the development of global economy, financial English language learners and financial workers have to redefine financial English to better participate in international economic affairs. In the process of learning financial English, the problem learners may encounter first is how to learn and master the huge quantity of financial English vocabulary. Through literature surveys, qualitative analysis and comparative analysis, the paper summarizes the features of financial English vocabulary as accuracy, oppositeness, relatedness, conciseness, stability and creativity. In addition, this article makes a further discussion about the terms with single meaning and terms with multiple meanings to help the understanding with financial English. According to the features of financial English terms and translation skills of literal translation, free translation and zero translation, selecting the appropriate translation method to make sure that the translation is of truth, accuracy and congruence. All in all, this paper would be helpful for learners to learn financial English well.

1 Introduction
   English, as the universal language, is widely used all over the world. It is becoming more and more common in our daily life. Financial English, which used as an English for specific purpose, has become an important part of English learning. As for the whole financial world, we found financial vocabulary of crucial importance.
1.1 The necessity of learning financial English
Finance is the practice of funds management, or the allocation of assets and liabilities over time under conditions of certainty and uncertainty. While financial English is an English for specific purposes. In the world of Economic Globalization, the rapid development of international financial markets require us to master basic financial knowledge to deal with the transnational trading.
