摘要:

等值翻译是翻译理论中的一个核心问题。随着商务英语在世界范围内交流的增多,商务英语的翻译较之以前更具挑战也更为重要。本文介绍了奈达的等值理论,商务英语的特点及其翻译原则,讨论了商务英语中表意词块、人际交流词块和联接词块的功能等值翻译。文章也给出了一些行之有效的商务英语翻译的方法和技巧。因此,这对改善商务英语翻译有一定的理论意义和现实意义。

Abstract:

Equivalence Translation is the core of translation theories in translation field. With the increasing business English communication over the world, translation of business English becomes more challenging and important than before. This article introduces Nida's Theory of Equivalence, the characteristics of Business English and principle of business translation, discusses functional equivalence translations of business English ideational, interpersonal and relational word chunks. It also gives some useful methods and techniques which can be applied to Business English translation. Therefore, it is theoretically and practically meaningful for the improvement of the translation of business English.

1. Introduction
With the development of society and economy, with the further implement of reform and opening to the world, the connection between China and world is becoming stronger and stronger. More and more goods made in China are sold in international market. Correspondingly, people pay more and more attention to translation of business English. In this paper, the importance of translation in modern economic society is expounded, the close connection of translation with social background and culture is explained, and the skills of translation are concluded and summarized. This article stresses on the introduction of Nida's Theory of Equivalence, the characteristics of Business English and principle of business translation. Furthermore, the article analyses the functional equivalence translations of business English ideational, interpersonal and relational word chunks. It also gives some useful methods and techniques which can be applied to Business English translation.
Business correspondence is the means by which business people conduct dealings and transactions. Thus, in this special trade, time is money. Effective communication is their main purpose. This thesis is about the translation of business English. Besides, translators should integrate relevant knowledge into common translation skills so as to achieve the final goal of effective business communication.
