Abstract:
This paper tries to analyze different ways of translation of Chinese Internet neologisms into English from the perspective of Functional Equivalence theory and Skopos theory with the purpose to introduce this unique type of Chinese language into Western world. With the rapid development of globalization and China's economy, along with the popularization and development of computer and Internet technology, the Internet has penetrated in our lives, and the Internet neologisms have been used as a tool to communicate and exchange ideas, with a lively sense of humor and strong personal advantage springing up all over the daily lives, and increasingly changing people's habits and lifestyle. Internet neologism is popular on the Internet because of its convenient, fast, informative features and furthermore, the theme of it reflects some social hot spot. The International neologism and its English translation of have gradually become a new research topic.

本文试图从功能对等轮和目的论的角度出发对中国汉语网络新词的翻译方法进行分析,以此来将这一独特的中国语言引入西方世界。随着计算机和互联网技术的普及和发展,互联网新词已被用来作为一种工具来沟通和交换意见,具有活泼感的幽默和强烈的个人优势,日益改变着人们的生活习惯和生活方式,在一定程度上也反映了一些社会热点。因此,网络新词的新的英文翻译方式已经逐渐成为一种新的研究课题。

1. Introduction
Language is a symbol of cultural, economic, social and political thought; the neologism reflects people’s modes of thinking and ways of life. But also with the knowledge explosion era, Internet neologism has become an indispensable part of people's life. The neologism has become the preferred way for people to communicate or get message with its convenient, fast, abundant information advantage. With the acceleration of China’s internationalization process, increased international influence and the continued development of the domestic economy, more and more foreign friends begin to pay attention to China, eager to understand her history and future, language and culture. Language is not only one of the most important carriers of information and communicating tools of mankind, but also an important part of the “soft power” of a nation.
