摘要

由于口译实践和培训的增多，关于口译的研究越来越多。口译研究的增多不仅表现在数量的增长，也表现在研究方向的深入。用跨学科的方法研究口译成为了一种趋势。在这些跨学科的研究中，对口译的认知研究逐渐成为热点。口译和工作记忆的关系研究就是口译认知研究中的一个研究方向。因为工作记忆在口译的保持和操作过程中起作用，所以工作记忆对口译至关重要。
虽然现有的关于口译和工作记忆关系的研究取得了一些进展，但是现有研究仍存在一些缺陷。本文对此领域现有的研究做了梳理，并对针对如何改进提出了建议。文章首先详细阐述了工作记忆在口译中的重要性。然后从研究水平和研究方法两个角度总结了现有研究的研究现状、趋势和不足。接着，根据总结，文章对今后的研究提出了建议。本文建议，研究者可以从三个角度考虑未来研究的变量和研究设计，（1）原文的呈现方式，（2）不同口译模式的差异，（3）测量工作记忆的方法。最后，结论部分对全文做了总结。
本文使研究者对口译和工作记忆关系研究的现状和未来趋势有了深入的了解。并且本文在对未来研究提出建议时，遵循了可行性的原则。

Abstract

With the booming of interpretation training and practice, researches in this area have witnessed a growth. The growing tendency is reflected not only in the increasing number of researchers, but also in the deepened research direction. Interdisciplinary approach to interpreting studies is a trend. Among these interdisciplinary studies, cognitive study on interpretation is becoming a hotspot. Relationship between interpreting and working memory is one research direction of studies in which cognitive approach is taken. Working memory is essential in interpreting for the reason that it functions in the maintaining and manipulating processes in interpreting to enhance practitioners’ performance.
Although researches on the relationship between interpreting and working memory have made some achievements, there is much deficiency in previous studies. This thesis makes a review on previous studies and then makes suggestions on how to improve future researches in this field. First, the importance of working memory is explained in details. Then, this thesis sums up research results, trends and inadequacies in terms of research level and methods. After that, suggestions on future researches are given on the basis of the summary. It is advised that, when thinking about variables and designs for future studies, researchers should take these three angles into consideration-the way messages from a source language are presented, differences in diverse modes of interpreting, the measurement of WM capacity. In the final part of this paper, a conclusion is drawn to summarize the whole thesis.
This thesis gives us insights into researches status and future strands in this field. And suggestions for future studies are feasible.
