随着国际交流和跨文化传播的深入，翻译研究越来越关注文化因素。在不同的文化背景中，作为语言基础的词汇变化很大。因此，最为典型的文化负载词，“美人”的词汇在不同语言之中可能代表不同的意义和内涵。本研究搜集并分类了汉语和英语中的 “美人”的词汇，观察和分析了此类词汇英汉互译的方法，并进一步探究了在“美人”词汇的翻译中如何跨越文化鸿沟进行美感移植。

Abstract:

Along with the deepening of international communication and the speeding-up of cross-national cultural transmission, translation studies are laying more emphasis on cultural factors. Lexicon thefoundation of language, and it varies greatly in different cultural background. Therefore,the “beauty” lexicon. a typical culture-loaded category,  may represents different meanings or connotations in different languages．This study collects and classifies the “beauty” lexicons in both Chinese and English in order to observe and analysis the translation method in the mutual translation,what’s more，I want to expore that how to transplant the sense of beauty across the cultural gap in the translation of the “Beauty” Lexicon .

Language and culture are closely related to each other. Different languages reflect different cultures. English and Chinese are two languages that stand for two different cultures; they differ from each other in many aspects.  This paper is to explore the English translation of Chinese “beauty” lexicon with translations from Chinese classics. This study on the adoption of translation for this type of cultural terms in the process of Chinese to English translation enables the elimination of cultural misreading and is also beneficial to the recognition of Chinese culture in a foreign compound, thus achieving the best possible result in cultural transmission and communication, and arousing people’s new consideration about Chinese culture.
2. Culture-Loaded “Beauty” Lexicon in Chinese Classics
2.1 Explain of Culture-Loaded Words
