[摘要]
主位推进理论是韩礼德所提出的系统功能语法的重要部分。旨在分析语篇的信息结构,帮助读者更好地理解语篇。本文将结合语篇分析和功能语法,探讨不同主位推进模式在语篇分析中的应用,得出针对不同的语篇,我们应当考虑是否保持或改变原有语篇的推进模式,以便得出最易接受的译文。

Abstract:
Thematic Progressing is a branch of FG, proposed by Halliday. It aims to help the readers to understand the discourse better through the analysis of the information structure. Based on the theories of discourse analysis and functional grammar, this paper analyzes the usage of TP pattern and the application of TP pattern in translation, and then concludes that for different discourses, we need to either maintain or change the original TP patterns in order to produce a satisfying translated version.
Key Words: Thematic Progression Theory; Systematic Functional Grammar; Discourse; Translation; TP pattern

Chapter 4 focuses on the application of thematic progression patterns in the translation of different discourses. Chapter 5 draws the conclusion of the entire thesis, pointing out its limitation and giving suggestions for further study.
