Abstract
In recent years, the fast development of our society has brought great changes to languages and English neologisms are emerging continuously. English neologisms are an extremely important component in the communication between China and foreign countries, and the Chinese translation of English neologisms is essentially an inter-cultural communication, which is directly related to the understanding of neologisms. With the increasingly frequent communication with foreign countries, people have a higher requirement of the accuracy in English neologisms’ translation. On the basis of the introduction of the definitions, classification and characteristics of English neologisms, as well as the key factors in English neologisms’ translation, this paper tries to explore the translation methods in English neologisms’ translation from five aspects, i.e., literal translation, free translation, transliteration, the combination of literal translation and transliteration, and no translation. This paper aims at arousing negotiators’ attention to English neologisms, and helping them better understand and master English neologisms, so as to promote deep understanding and cultural exchanges between China and the West.

1 Introduction
With the fast development of science and technology, great changes have taken place in language as a form of social development. Especially, as the world’s most commonly used language, English has undergone great changes too, among which the most significant change is an endless stream of English neologisms in recent years. Human communication is made through two channels — verbal communication and nonverbal communication. People generally take the verbal form as the central carrier of information. Knowing the correct meaning of English neologisms is an important tool in people’s communication. From earlier time, many researches have done research on English neologisms, among which Bai Xue (2007) points that according to the CNKI, there are 259 articles to explore the English neologisms, including their features, definition and classification during ten years.
