Therefore, there appear lots of Chinese subjectless sentences, while English language is a totally different story. English subjects must be supplemented with proper methods when people translate Chinese subjectless sentences. Chinese language focuses on parataxis while English language focuses on hypotaxis.

Introduction
The Chinese and English languages are different in culture and ways of thinking. One of the important things is the difference between Chinese and English subjects. The English language focuses on hypotaxis. English sentences have strict subject-predicate structures, which are usually formed by nominal phrases and verbal phrases. English subjects cannot be omitted except in imperative sentences and some certain idiomatic phrases. However, subject-predicate structures in Chinese language are much more complicated. Not only can the subjects have different forms, but also they can often be omitted. The Chinese language focuses on parataxis instead of subjects. Many Chinese sentences do not have subjects because of this kind of special structure.
The subjectless sentence is a kind of specific sentence structure in Chinese language. It plays an important role in oral language and daily communication. It is worth researching how to accurately understand Chinese subjectless sentences and translate them into English sentences which accord with English grammar and culture. This paper aims at making a brief analysis of Chinese subjcetless sentences and probing into the methods of translating Chinese subjectless sentences, hoping it will be useful for future translation teaching and practice.
