Abstract:

The Bible has exerted profound influence on the western society. It’s the religious classic of the Christianity as well as the cultural classic of the world literature. E-C translation of the Bible has had a history of more than 1,300 years. However, those characteristics of terms in the Bible make it rather difficult not only for us to understand, but also for translators at home to translate. Therefore, the author tries to probe into the E-C translation of terms in the Bible on the classification level through intercultural perspective. Furthermore, the cultural elements should be taken into consideration in the translation of terms in the Bible to promote the dissemination of the biblical knowledge as well as the cultural communication between China and western countries.

摘要：

《圣经》对西方社会产生了深远影响，它既是基督教的宗教经典，更是具有文学性的文化经典。而《圣经》汉译距今也有1,300多年的历史，其中术语带有的特性让许多人难以理解，也给翻译工作者带来了翻译上的难点。因此，本论旨在从跨文化交际的角度，对其中术语的翻译展开尝试性的探索。在翻译《圣经》中的术语时，充分考虑文化因素对翻译的影响，从而促进圣经知识的传播，进而促进中西方文化的交流。

Introduction
Science and technology has advanced by leaps and bounds throughout these years, and with the surging tide of economic globalization, as a bridge between different cultures, translation has played more and more significant role in the more frequent cross-cultural communication. Translation activity is not only the transformation initiative of language and characters, but also the communication and transplantation activity of different cultures.
In western society, the Bible is a cultural classic as well as a religious literature. It’s also acting as the inspiration of God, which is beneficial to drawing lessons, implementing supervision and so on. Terms in the Bible are basic and significant elements in the biblical culture. They reflect stylistic features of biblical language as the soul of it. It’s quite important to explore terms in the Bible behind the phenomenon of cultural differences from the perspective of intercultural communication owing to the special pragmatic value and social function of biblical texts.
Based on the analysis of the Bible with intercultural communication and E-C translation, this paper focuses on conducting explorations to probe into the translation methods and provide references for translation standardization of terms in the Bible.
