Abstract

The paper studies the translation of numerals with semantic fuzziness in Mao Zedong’s poetry from the perspective of semantic fuzziness. It puts forward three principles of nationality, universality and figurativeness and five translation skills including literal translation, omission, addition, reduction and adaption.
