摘要

毛泽东诗词有多种版本的英译文，有中国译者、也有外国译者。中外译者在翻译时体现出的差异表现在诸多方面，思维差异是其中之一。不同的民族有不同的思维方式，存在着思维差异。本文全面介绍了毛泽东诗词翻译的总体情况和总体的翻译策略，与此同时也介绍了中西方不同的思维差异，及其对翻译的影响，并以个案研究深入探讨三种思维模式对毛泽东诗词英译的影响。

Abstract

There are many people to translate Mao Zedong’s poetry into various English versions all over the world, including Chinese translators and foreign translators. The difference between Chinese translators and foreign translators is showed in all kinds of aspects and thinking difference is one of them. It is well-known that different nations have different thinking ways so as to exist thinking difference among them. The paper comprehensively introduces the overall situation and translation strategies of Mao Zedong’s poetry. At the same time, it also shows us the thinking differences between Chinese and western people and their influence on translation. Besides, the paper penetrates into exploring the influences of thinking modes to Mao Zedong’s poetry’s English versions on the base of the case study.
