摘要

本文从旅游文本翻译中出现的文化缺省现象入手，探讨了文化缺省的来源及其原因。由于文化背景不同，文化缺省的存在是妨碍旅游文本翻译的一大阻碍。本文从两个方面分析了由文化缺省带来的翻译障碍：第一类是由文化空缺和文化冲突造成的词汇空缺和词汇冲突给翻译带来的困难；第二类是由语篇层面上的行文和修辞的差异引起的翻译障碍。为了消除这两类翻译障碍，本文根据旅游文本翻译的根本目的，确定了其翻译的原则，并针对旅游文本中的文化缺省现象提出了相应的补偿策略，从而准确、生动、形象地翻译旅游资料，推动我国旅游业的发展，促进中西文化的交流。

Abstract

This paper begins with a brief introduction to the origin and reasons of cultural default in tourism texts translation. Due to different cultural background, the cultural default is an obstacle that interferes with tourism texts translation. The author demonstrates translation difficulties caused by cultural default from two aspects: The first kind of translation difficulty is from lexical gap and lexical conflict caused by cultural gap and cultural conflict, and the second one is caused by differences in discourse and rhetoric at the textual level. In order to eliminate these translation difficulties, this paper determines the principles of tourism texts translation according to the purpose of translation. Based on Skopostheory, several appropriate strategies are put forward to compensate for the cultural default in source texts and translate tourism texts accurately and vividly so that domestic tourism and communication between oriental and occidental culture will strive for further improvement.
