摘要：

为对国际商务英语中的缩略语做出更加准确的翻译，有更深的认识和理解，为商务往来活动创造良好的环境，本文从总结国内外商务英语研究现状、缩略语研究成果的出发，归纳了商务英语在词法句法文法方面的特点及缩略语应用特点。并借用奈达功能对等翻译理论，引用例证，分析语料，尝试提出相应的商务英语中缩略语的翻译方法，为做好商务英语缩略语翻译提供必要的理论基础和经验。同时指出了现有研究的不足并提出对今后研究的建议。

Abstract：

In order to be more accurate in abbreviation translation in international business English, thus to make effective communication in business activities, this thesis come up with the perspective of applying Eugene A. Nida’s Translation Theory of Functional Equivalence to abbreviation translation in business English. Summary of existing literatures offer a more clear understanding about abbreviations in business English, and the dissection of Nida’s Translation Theory of Functional Equivalence provides theoretical foundation for the proposal of related translation methods. Limitations of study are analyzed and recommendations have been proposed as well. This thesis is an attempt to combine theory with abbreviation translation, and presents some methods to abbreviation translation in business English according to the theory.
