Abstract
The American sitcom The Big Bang Theory has been popular in China since it      was broadcast in 2007, and the researches on it in the translation field are also very hot. Most traditional subtitling researches concentrated on the analysis of  humorous elements in translation, but this paper endeavors to analyze the emotional elements of The Big Bang Theory from the perspective of “Cultural Turn ” within the framework of Functional Equivalence theory. This paper places much emphasis on the aspects of friendship centering around the actors, aiming to make readers know the process about how to convey cultural meaning and understand the cultural connotation of the sitcom, so as to achieve the goal of cultural exchange.

美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》自2007年播出以来深受中国观众的欢迎，中国学者在翻译领域对其的研究也处于一个如火如荼的阶段。传统的字幕翻译研究多注重于其幽默元素的阐释和分析方面，这篇论文则从文化转向角度，以功能对等理论，翻译目的论为理论基础对其中具有情感文化的词语进行研究，主要是围绕剧中主角友情方面进行阐述，从而让读者理解文化中的意义是如何通过翻译实现的，进一步了解《生活大爆炸》中所反映的文化内涵，以实现文化交流的目的。

With the process of economic globalization and the increase of exchanges among different countries, more and more foreign TV shows have been introduced into China. In recent years, researches on audiovisual media become flourishing, especially in the field of subtitle translation. This paper will take the American TV show The Big Bang Theory as an research object, endeavoring to find out the differences in the versions between two different cultures, particularly paying attention to the impact which posed by the popularization of the web, so as to make readers understand the realization process of culture turn in translation and subtitling.
