摘  要

随着世界联系日益紧密,各国各区间的贸易日益频繁,广告在贸易宣传中的桥梁作用越来越明显。然而,文化差异带来许多矛盾,使得广告翻译不恰当,影响贸易交流。本文主要讲述了中英差异,文化差异的影响和如何将对文化差异的理解运用到广告翻译中去这三个要点。我们会发现,文化差异的存在不可避免。文化差异是跨文化广告翻译的很大障碍。但与此同时,贸易提供中英文化碰撞的机会,为文化交流和理解提供了机会,为改善广告翻译的技巧提供了机会。所以说,了解中英文化差异和和这些差异带来的影响,以及如何正确运用文化差异的认识,是非常重要的。这些不仅有利于贸易交流,也有利于文化交融和不同国家的和谐发展。

Abstract

As the world increasingly linked, inter-regional trade increasingly frequent, the effect of advertising, as a bridges in trade promotion, becomes more and more obvious. However, cultural differences bring many conflicts, make advertising translation inappropriate, affect the trade exchange. This paper focuses on three points: cultural differences between Chinese and English-speaking cultures; influences of cultural differences; applications of how to use understanding of cultural differences on Advertising translation. We will find that cultural differences is inevitable. Cultural difference is a major obstacle to cross-cultural advertisement translation. But at the same time, trade provides opportunities for Sino-British cultural collisions, provides opportunities for cultural exchange and understanding, and provides opportunities to improve the skill of advertisements translating. Therefore, it is very important to understand cultural differences, the effects of those differences, and how to use cultural differences. These will not only benefit trade exchanges, but also conducive to cultural integration and harmonious development of the different countries.
