摘　要

隐喻作为一种语言现象，长期以来受到众多学者的关注及研究。而随着隐喻的发展，它在新闻中的使用也越来越频繁，它能将抽象的经济活动描述得生动形象、易懂、更具感染力。国际间的经济交流活动离不开信息的传播，新闻的重要性就不言而喻。因此隐喻在新闻中的翻译研究也在不断发展。本文对隐喻做了相应的研究和探讨，结合新闻的特点，从标题、词汇和句式这几个方面对经济新闻里的隐喻做了讨论。本文还对几种翻译方法作了简单介绍,希望能通过这些翻译方法的研究，让译者更准确地翻译英语经济新闻，从而传达最准确、贴切的信息给读者。

Abstract

As a linguistic phenomenon, metaphor has been studied and concerned by many scholars for a long time. With the development of metaphor, the usage of it in economic news is becoming more frequent. It can transform the abstract economic activities to become vivid and appealing. Since all economic activities are inseparable from the dissemination of information, the significance of news is quite apparent. Therefore, the study about translation of metaphor in English news is developing gradually. The paper does the corresponding research to metaphor, and it discusses the English economic news’ features from the aspect of headlines, lexical and syntactical levels. Translation methods are also introduced so as to help the translators translate English economic news more accurately.
