摘  要

颜色词是指语言中用来描述事物某种颜色的词。 由于不同民族的文化差异，人们对颜色词的感受和表达不尽相同，对颜色产生的联想意义和语用意义也各不相同。这在涉及到颜色词的翻译及文化交流中存在一定障碍，妨碍国际交流。本文主要分析颜色词的文化差异。及其对关于颜色词的翻译的影响。首先本文将从中英颜色词的差异类型着手，分析中英颜色词存在的主要差异；其次本文通过对一些典型颜色词的文化差异分析展现中英颜色词之间存在的差异；再次本文在此基础上探讨中英颜色词文化差异对颜色词翻译的影响，从而提出几种针对性的翻译策略。本文的研究旨在使读者了解并掌握颜色词的语义及其文化内涵差异，从而致力于翻译实践并促进中西文化交流。

Abstract

Color word is the term used to describe a color in the language. Due to the cultural differences of different nations, people’s feeling and expression to color words are not identical, neither are the associative meaning and the pragmatic meaning. This will create obstacles in the translation of color words and cultural communication, hinging international communication. This dissertation mainly analyzes the cultural differences of color words and its influence on the translation of color words. First of all, this paper starts from the types of differences of English and Chinese color words, analyzing the main differences between English and Chinese color words. Then, this paper will show the differences of English and Chinese color words through analyzing the cultural differences of some typical color words. Based on this, this dissertation discusses the influence of cultural differences of color words on the translation of it. Hence several corresponding translation strategies will be put forward. This paper is to make readers to understand and master the semantic and cultural differences of color words. And it dedicates to the translation work, so as to promote the Chinese and Western cultural communication.
