摘　要

随着社会的进步，PPT在现在教学模式中越来越广泛，作为现代化的，新型的教学手段的多媒体可以将文字、图像、声音、动画、视屏等多媒体信息融为一体，其图文并茂、动静结合、声情融会、视听并用的方式使英语教学内容变得更加生动、形象、逼真。还可以使英语情景教学更生动活泼、引人入胜。但是，如果对PPT使用不恰当，则会忽视学生在英语教学中的主体地位，也会忽略创新得教学设计。因此，我们必须把学生的参与教学放在第一位，把PPT课件设计得高质量，运用PPT课件与教学课程同步，以此来达到使用PPT的最大优处。

Abstract

Along with social progress, PPT now has become widely used for students in English language teaching. As a modern, new teaching methods of multimedia which can be text ed, imaged, sound, animation, video and other multimedia information, its illustrated, the combination of dynamic and static state, the genie digest and audio-visual English can make teaching contents and ways to become more vivid, image, vivid, realistic. It also can make English situational teaching more lively and compelling. However, if the use of PPT not appropriate, it may ignore the students' subject position in English language teaching, also will ignore the innovative teaching design. Therefore, we must get the students involved in teaching in the first place, designing PPT Courseware of high quality, applying PPT Courseware Synchronized with the teaching process, in order to achieve maximum optimization using PowerPoint.

1 Introduction
Twenty-first centuries is an information age, and also an epoch in network education and Internet. Naturally, school, as a part of society, is inevitably drawn into this tendency and modern information technologies have stepped into the classroom teaching and learning. According to Computers in Education, data show that in 1989 only about 18% of schools had one or more computers for instructional use; but by 1994 this figure had risen to 98%. There is hardly a school in America today without at least one compute. The application of multimedia for teachers in English teaching is the manifestation of keeping up with this trend. We should make best use of Internet as scientific and technical payoffs. PPT is just one of the important multimedia teaching methods.
In the meantime, nowadays, with the implementation of the strategy of rejuvenating the country with science and education, the comprehensive national power of China has been strengthened greatly. As a result, more and more attention has been given to education; especially, under the big environment of globalization, more and more attention has been give to English education, especially the importance of English education in primary school.
